Christ Community Church Core Beliefs

God- We will pursue Him with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength, and seek His face. We will passionately worship Him and seek to be wholly filled with Him. We will honor Him in all we do. He is our #1 priority.

Jesus- He is Lord and King. His name is above all others. There is no other way to the Father but through Him. There is no salvation without Him. He is our Redeemer, Healer, Wisdom, and Righteousness. We can do nothing without Him. He alone is worthy. We will radically preach His grace and love without compromise.

Holy Spirit- He is the only member of the Godhead physically on the earth today. He is God and we will enter into an intimate relationship with Him. He is our best friend. We will commune with Him and co-labor with Him in testifying of Jesus and His finished work of the cross. We will dance with Him and actively pursue and operate in His gifts to edify the church.

People- People matter, period! We are God’s greatest creation and we will honor others as such. We will learn to love well. We will love people extravagantly as we are loved extravagantly by the Father. We will be transparent, open, and honest, in our relationships at all costs. We will minister to the rich, the poor, the outcasts, and the broken. No one will escape our love as we manifest the heart of the Father on the earth.

Community- We will impact our community with the Kingdom of God. We will let our light shine in government, in education, in the workforce, in sports, in the media, in arts and entertainment, and in all other areas of life. We will lead with the heart of a servant and serve with the heart of a king. We will make an impact in all areas of social justice and give a voice to those who don’t have one.

Bible- The inspired, written, Word of God. The whole book is about a Father’s love for His Son and His love for us. It’s purpose is to point us to Jesus and to bring us into an encounter with Him.
